2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Towing Features

Your Grand Cherokee will take care of the heavy lifting when you’re towing through Hamden. Thanks to these advanced technologies, you’ll enjoy total confidence in your ability to stay in control, even when the weather or the road conditions are working against you!

Trailer Sway Control – With this system, your vehicle will be easier to handle during rough conditions. It applies brake pressure on alternating wheels while adjusting the engine throttle as necessary in order to maintain proper vehicle stability.

Hill Descent Control – Worry not while driving downhill with a trailer in tow. Hill descent control will help you out by automatically applying the brakes on your Grand Cherokee if a steep incline is detected, allowing for stability and safety as you head downhill.

Hill Start Assist – Get-up-and-go can be difficult to achieve when you’re parked on an incline without a heavy load attached. When you activate hill start assist, the system will keep your Grand Cherokee from rolling backward –even with a heavy load attached. By holding your brakes down as you move to press the accelerator, the feature generates the necessary power for a smooth takeoff.

High-performance Brembo brake systems – These brake systems will increase your stopping power on Meriden roads. They’re available when you opt for the top-tier Trackhawk® and SRT® trim levels, and they’re comprised of two-piece vented rotors and six-piston front Brembo calipers on the Trackhawk® and 15-inch front rotors and six-piston calipers on the SRT®.
